Appier awarded “most engaging employer brand” 2020 by LinkedIn Taiwan

Appier was awarded “The Most Engaging Employer Brand” by LinkedIn Taiwan at their annual event which took place online on 3 June 2021. The winning criteria includes page views, followers, posts shared, likes and reactions on Appier’s LinkedIn page. This award is a reflection of how actively we are in more than recruiting diverse talent, but also to engage with the global talent pool. 

The theme for LinkedIn’s annual event this year which took place online due to the ongoing pandemic was aptly titled “Reimagine HR in the post-COVID world”. Appier’s Vice President and Global Head of Human Resources, Philip Chan, spoke on the panel discussion “New Approaches for Building Winning Teams”, alongside spokespersons from ITRI and Wistron HR. Philip highlighted how our core values of “Open-Mindedness, Direct Communication and Ambition” got us through 2020 during the pandemic where we experimented with online courses and even debuted “Happier Hour” as a way of engaging our employees. Happier Hour is a half-hour program where we celebrate employee anniversaries, welcome new joiners and more. It is now a regular fixture at Appier which takes place every Friday and the committee behind Happier Hour is constantly iterating on new formats and fresh ideas to find fresh new ways to engage employees.
